The 2023-24 Premier League season was a huge win for Peacock and NBC’s linear channels. Across the length of the season, NBC Sports saw an average Total Audience Delivery of 546,000 viewers per TV match window across NBC, Peacock, and USA Network, the largest in U.S. history. The number exceeds last year’s 527,000 viewers each match by 4% and beats the previous record of 541,000 set in 2015-16.

Zooming in on Peacock reveals even more ratings successes for the 2023-24 EPL season. The campaign saw not one, but two exclusive matches on Peacock break the 1 million Average Minute Audience mark, the first time an EPL game has ever crossed that threshold on Peacock. Eight Peacock-exclusive matches averaged at least 800,000 viewers, four times as many as in the 2022-23 season.

This season, Peacock viewers streamed 28% more live minutes of Premier League soccer than they did last year. Six of the seven most-watched Premier League matches in U.S. history were broadcast last year, and Peacock carried eight of the nine most-streamed Premier League games ever during last year’s campaign as well.
