About Awake
After a tragic car accident, detective Michael Britten finds himself living in two distinct realities. In one, his wife Hannah survived; in the other, his son Rex lived. Unable to determine which reality is real, Michael uses colored wristbands to keep track: red for the world with his wife and green for the world with his son. He sees two different therapists, Dr. Jonathan Lee in the red reality and Dr. Judith Evans in the green reality, each trying to help him reconcile his experiences. Back on the job, Michael's unusual behavior raises eyebrows, but his unique ability to solve crimes using insights from both realities makes him an invaluable asset, even if his colleagues don't understand how he does it.
