About Krapopolis
Set against the backdrop of mythical ancient Greece, Krapopolis follows a dysfunctional and deeply flawed collective of humans, gods, and monsters as they attempt to govern one of the earliest urban settlements in history. Tyrantus, a mortal king with grand ambitions, struggles to maintain order while his divine mother and monstrous father provide more interference than assistance. This unconventional family must navigate the trials of early civilization, balancing their own selfish desires against the survival of the city itself. Their efforts to cooperate often lead to hilarious disasters, yet they remain tethered by the necessity of their shared goal. The series highlights the messy and often violent transition from primitive tribes to a structured society, showing how difficult it is to build a legacy when your relatives are literally legendary. It is a comedic exploration of the human condition and the ridiculous nature of power, where the main objective is simply to keep the city running without succumbing to their own destructive impulses.
