About Miracle Workers
In the first season of this hilarious comedy anthology, we are introduced to the inner workings of Heaven Inc., a celestial corporation run by apathetic God. When God, on the verge of a major existential crisis, decides to destroy Earth, it's up to Craig and Eliza, two low-level angels, to intervene. They propose a seemingly impossible bet: if they can make two humans, Laura and Sam, fall in love, God will spare humanity. What follows is a series of uproarious and often absurd attempts to engineer a romantic connection between two incredibly awkward individuals. Their efforts put them on a collision course with God and a host of other celestial beings. The season explores themes of love, faith, and the power of even the smallest acts of kindness.
