T-Mobile Subscribers Can Sign Up for MLB.TV for Free Starting Today; Offer Available for One Week

The MLB season opens on Thursday, March 28, and T-Mobile subscribers can watch every out-of-market game from the league at no cost!

Groundskeepers at MLB stadiums around the country are putting the finishing touches on their outfields and measuring the base paths to ensure they’re up to regulations. The 2024 MLB regular season begins on Thursday, March 28, and T-Mobile customers are once again being offered a free year of the league’s out-of-market game streaming platform MLB.TV.

  • The offer for a full season of MLB.TV opens on Tuesday, March 26 for T-Mobile subscribers.
  • T-Mobile customers will need to have the MLB app and the T-Mobile Tuesdays app to get a free season of MLB.TV.
  • A full season of MLB.TV is a $149.99 value.

Starting at 5 a.m. ET on Tuesday, March 26, T-Mobile subscribers can sign up for a full year of MLB.TV completely free. To be eligible for the free season of MLB.TV, customers will need to download the MLB app, as well as the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. Customers will redeem the offer itself through the T Life app. Click here to get a free year of MLB.TV once you’ve got all the appropriate apps!

The offer is only available through 4:59 a.m. ET on April 2. It provides T-Mobile subscribers with a $149.99 value, the price of a full MLB.TV subscription that carries all teams. MLB.TV also offers subscription plans that carry just one team each, so by offering the all-teams plan T-Mobile is ensuring that its customers get to stream thousands of live games every season.

What Can You Watch on MLB.TV?

MLB.TV allows customers to stream every out-of-market MLB game live. It does not allow customers to watch in-market games, though every game of each day is available to watch on-demand on the platform once the live action on the field ends. MLB games airing on national channels like ESPN, Fox, MLB Network, and TBS are also not included.

MLB.TV allows the viewer to choose home or away TV and radio feeds, so they can get any perspective on the game they want. The MLB.TV app also allows baseball fans to watch up to four games simultaneously, using the service’s popular multiview function. In 2024, MLB.TV’s multiview is coming to Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Google TV-powered devices.

The service has launched some other updates for the 2024 season, starting with Catchup Mode. This allows fans who join the stream of a game late to view a customized highlight reel that lets them see the biggest plays and moments from the game thus far. It’s an excellent way to let fans see what they’ve missed out on quickly, without taking up so much time that they miss more big plays from the livestream.

Simply click here to access your free season of MLB.TV starting March 26 if you’re a T-Mobile subscriber. It’s a great way for baseball fans to save hundreds of dollars per season and watch every out-of-market game not appearing on national channels.

MLB.TV

MLB.TV is the official streaming service of Major League Baseball. You can see every out-of-market game live or on demand, and choose home or away TV and radio feeds. The app allows fans to watch up to four games simultaneously on the same screen through their Multi-view feature. MLB.TV can be added to your Sling TV or Prime Video subscription.

Users can choose to follow the entire league for “All Teams” ($149.99) plan, which is also available for “All Teams” ($29.99) a month, or you can stream one team’s out-of-market games for “Single Team” ($129.99).

One major caveat about the service: Your local games may be blacked out through MLB.TV, so you may still need to watch through your local provider.

If you’d like to go beyond the games, MLB.TV provides features, documentaries, and classic games.
