The 2026 Winter Olympics are in full swing in Milano and Cortina, Italy, but because of how many events are happening every day — not to mention the time difference (six hours from the East Coast, nine hours from the West) — it can be confusing trying to figure out what events are available to stream when and where. Peacock is a subscription video streaming service from NBCUniversal that includes original shows, blockbuster movies, and classic television series. Peacock is home to “Yellowstone,” “The Office,” and original hits like “Poker Face” and “Bel-Air.” You can also watch live sports and NBC programming, including the NFL, MLB, WWE, the Olympics, the Premier League, NASCAR, the French Open, college football and basketball, and the PGA Tour. Premium Plus subscribers can stream their local NBC feed in all 210 markets.

Peacock also includes news, entertainment, sports, late-night, and reality from various NBCU properties, including NBC, Bravo, and E!. Additionally, Peacock has exclusives like “Below Deck: Down Under.” They also include live and on-demand access to Hallmark channels.

The company has acquired the rights to many classic shows, including “Parks and Recreation” and the entire Dick Wolf library, which includes “Law & Order” and “Chicago Fire.”

Peacock features weekly Sunday night NFL games during the regular season, available on the Premium and Premium Plus plans.

Peacock again raised prices on August 18, 2026, with the cost of plans increasing to $8.99 for the Select, $12.99 for Premium, and $19.99 for Premium Plus.

The service also features blockbusters and critically acclaimed films from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, DreamWorks Animation, Illumination, as well as content acquired from Hollywood’s biggest studios.

What streaming services offer the channels covering the Winter Olympics?

If you prefer to watch the Olympics on traditional linear channels, almost all of the major live TV streaming services carry the three NBCU channels covering the games. Unfortunately, Fubo has been in a carriage dispute with NBC since November, and therefore is not currently an option to stream the company’s networks.

The main broadcasts will be on NBC, with the USA Network and CNBC also handling occasional ancillary coverage. Depending on what you are looking for, different services have different selling points. If you are looking to get as much as you can without having to pay, YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, and DIRECTV offer free trials. Hulu’s is three days, DIRECTV’s is five days, and YouTube TV’s could be as long as three weeks, but that is not available to all customers. So, you will have to go through the sign-up process to see if you are eligible for that extended free period.

While Sling TV does not offer a free trial, it does offer something that no other streamer does: the ability to subscribe for as little as 24 hours. So, if there is a single event that you want to watch, and don’t want to potentially forget to cancel before the end of your free trial, you can pay as little as $5 and stream your event. Keep in mind, however, that not all Sling markets will have access to NBC, so make sure you live in a region that does before paying for the service.
