What are all the ways to get an Apple TV subscription?
Apple TV now comes in a couple of different bundles, and there’s even a way to get a free three-month trial of the service.
As The Streamable’s Thomas Waschenfelder can tell you, there are a ton of great shows on Apple TV that make the streaming service well worth a long-term subscription. There’s just one plan of Apple TV: its ad-free subscription for $13 per month that unlocks the streamer’s full library of original shows and movies.
If you’re shopping for an Apple TV subscription, but are hoping to save a little money with a bundle or a free trial, we’ll detail all the methods you can use to sign up for an account of your own below!
What are all the ways you can sign up for Apple TV?
Direct subscription
The simplest way to sign up for an Apple TV subscription is to click here to head to the streamer's website, or to download the Apple TV app on your connected TV, iOS, or Android device and subscribe that way. Apple TV’s sole $13-per-month plan is available via this method, and you can always watch on the Apple TV website or through its app.
StreamSaver Bundle
This is the first of two bundles you can purchase that includes Apple TV. First launched in May 2024, the StreamSaver bundle is only available to Xfinity TV and internet subscribers. It costs $15 per month, and includes Apple TV, along with ad-supported plans of Netflix and Peacock. Normally, these services would cost you over $30 per month to subscribe to on their own, so if you are an Xfinity customer, this is a pretty good deal.
Bundled with Peacock
In October 2025, Apple TV launched a new bundle with Peacock Premium, the ad-supported plan of NBCU’s streamer that includes all of its live sports and on-demand titles. This bundle costs $15 per month, and while it’s not as good a value as StreamSaver, it is available to the general public. Ordinarily, these two services cost $24 per month if you sign up to them separately.
Through Prime Video
If you want to add Apple TV to your Prime Video subscription, you can purchase it through the platform’s Subscriptions page. Doing so will abrogate the need to download the Apple TV app, as you’ll be able to stream its content directly through Prime Video. Your bill will also be combined with your Prime Video invoice, leaving you fewer things to keep track of.
With the purchase of select Apple products
Purchasing a new iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or Apple TV 4K device is a great way to get a three-month free trial of Apple TV. Most Apple products offer a 90-day free trial to the streaming service when you buy one.
With an Apple One subscription
If you use multiple Apple services, Apple One is a bundle that includes iCloud+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, and Apple News+ in addition to Apple TV. You’ll need an Apple device to sign up for Apple One, which costs $20 per month for the individual plan, $26 for the Family plan, or $38 for the Premier plan.
Apple TV
Apple TV (formerly known as Apple TV+) is a subscription video streaming service for $14.99 per month, offering a growing slate of original series, films, documentaries, and specials. Unlike other platforms that combine licensed titles with originals, Apple TV is built entirely around exclusive programming, making it the home of critically acclaimed hits such as “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Morning Show,” and “Silo.” Its lineup continues to expand with award-winning dramas, comedies, family-friendly shows, and blockbuster original films like “CODA,” which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
