Best alternatives to Fubo for watching NBCU channels
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is our top choice to replace Fubo if you want to stream NBCU channels. It carries various NBCU-owned channels in its Genre Packs, which start at $20 per month and include only specific types of networks, such as sports, news, or kids’ channels, without packing in other types of networks that viewers may not want to pay for.
DIRECTV Signature channel plans include a wide range of NBCU channels all in the same package, and while they normally start at $90 per month, a limited-time deal can help new customers save $40 off their first month of service. Starting with the DIRECTV CHOICE package, viewers can also get NBC Sports RSNs included in their plan — with the exception of NBC Sports Philadelphia, which cannot be watched with any DIRECTV plan.
New customers can choose to receive their DIRECTV package through a Gemini device provided by the company or with their own device instead. Choosing the latter course means viewers get a five-day free trial to test out their package.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV offers NBC Sports RSNs in its base package, as well as the other top NBCU-owned channels that are now dark on Fubo. That includes the NBC broadcast channel, so all the sports and local news that comes along with that network will almost certainly be available with Hulu + Live TV in your market.
This streamer’s base package costs $89 per month on its own, but for $1 per month more, you get Hulu’s on-demand content, the live channel package including NBCU networks, Disney+, and ESPN Unlimited as well. Hulu + Live TV also comes with a three-day free trial for new customers.
Hulu Live TV
Hulu Live TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 70 channels for $89.99 per month. Hulu + Live TV base plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs). Subscribers get free access to Disney+ and ESPN Select at no extra charge.
Sling TV
Access to all NBCU channels in one package is a little trickier to manage with Sling TV, but the service does give customers lots of options to more precisely pick and choose which channels they want access to for a great price. Sling’s Blue package carries Bravo, MS NOW, and USA Network for $46 per month, and you can get CNBC and Golf Channel with the purchase of channel add-on packs.
NBC is available in Sling TV’s Blue plan as well, but only in the markets listed in the table below. There is no current way to get NBC Sports RSNs using a Sling TV subscription.
| NBC market | Channel call sign |

| Boston | WBTS |

Sling TV
Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.
You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV has all the NBCU channels that have been pulled from Fubo, including NBC Sports RSNs in their respective markets. Its base package costs $83 per month normally, but it does have a free trial that can last as long as three weeks if you catch the streamer in a promotional period.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 60 channels for $82.99/month. This plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs) in select markets. The base plan includes more than 100 live channels, including major broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, as well as popular cable channels such as ESPN, CNN, FX, USA Network, and TNT. Local channels are included in most markets, making YouTube TV a full replacement for traditional cable for many viewers.
Can you replace Fubo with Peacock during this carriage dispute?
Peacock has plans starting at just $8 per month, and from a price standpoint, it’s a much more attractive option than paying $100 per month or more for a Fubo subscription if you were mainly watching for access to NBCU content.
But there are some important things to remember about Peacock if you want to cancel Fubo and use it instead. The cheapest way to get access to all sports on the streamer — and there are a lot — is with the ad-supported Premium plan for $11 per month. You can also cut out the ads during playback of on-demand content with Peacock Premium Plus for $17 per month.
Peacock carries on-demand episodes of shows from Bravo, NBC, and USA Network, and you can pay from $15 to $25 per month to add your local NBC Sports RSN to a Peacock subscription, depending on how many such RSNs are available in your region. But you won’t be able to watch any programming from Bravo, CNBC, or USA Network live on Peacock, and NBC streams are only available to Peacock Premium Plus subscribers.
Peacock
Peacock is a subscription video streaming service from NBCUniversal that includes original shows, blockbuster movies, and classic television series. Peacock is home to “Yellowstone,” “The Office,” and original hits like “Poker Face” and “Bel-Air.” You can also watch live sports and NBC programming, including the NFL, MLB, WWE, the Olympics, the Premier League, NASCAR, the French Open, college football and basketball, and the PGA Tour. Premium Plus subscribers can stream their local NBC feed in all 210 markets.
