The NHL regular season is nearly here! Last year’s Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights will drop the puck on their 2023-24 season on Tuesday, Oct. 10 when they face last year’s surprise team the Seattle Kraken at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The Knights are no longer on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain; in fact, that channel is shutting down entirely on Oct. 6. Instead, Vegas Golden Knights games will be available to watch on local broadcast channels in the team’s local market this year, and fans can also choose to stream the team via a new service called KnightTime+.
How Much is KnightTime+?
KnightTime+ will cost $69.99 per season, or fans can pay to watch a single game for $6.99 each as the season rolls along.
Does KnightTime+ Offer a Free Trial?
Yes, all six preseason games on KnightTime+ will be available to stream for free.
How Many Games Are Available on KnightTime+?
In 2023, KnightTime+ will carry 69 regular season Knights contests, as well as six of the seven preseason games the team is scheduled to play. Should Vegas make the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year, its first round of games will also be available to stream on KnightTime+.
What Other Content is Available on KnightTime+?
In addition to live games, KnightTime+ will carry on-demand game replays, highlights, press conferences, and other gameday essentials. Currently, the service has a ton of player profile videos, shorts documenting players’ days alone with the Stanley Cup, highlights from last season’s action, and more.
What Games Will Be Blacked Out on KnightTime+?
Any nationally broadcast Golden Knights games appearing on ESPN or TNT will not be available on KnightTime+. If Vegas makes it past the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, games will switch to a national-only broadcast format, so none of those contests will be streamed on KnightTime+.
What Areas is KnightTime+ Available In?
Fans must be located within the team’s television territory – which extends through Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and certain counties in California, Nebraska, and Arizona – to watch live games on KnightTime+.
What Devices Can You Use to Stream KnightTime+?
Currently, the service is available on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, and Roku devices. The team plans to expand the app to more platforms as soon as possible.
An incorrect version of this article previously stated that KnightTime+ offered no free trial of any kind.
