You can stream the NFL Super Bowl with a live TV streaming service. No cable or satellite TV subscription needed. Here are all the places you can find the championship game playing:
Last year, FOX broadcasted the game through the FOX Sports app for free. And while it is known for its glitches, access to the app was free and included 4k. Compare that to 2022, when NBC required that streamers watch the big game via their paid premium tier on Peacock or through a TV Everywhere authentication with the NBC app. While we aren’t sure if CBS will offer Super Bowl 58 for free, we do know that it will stream on [$ Paramount] and with live tv streaming services such as DIRECTV STREAM and fuboTV.

Super Bowl Streaming Stats:
The 2024 edition of the Super Bowl is just ahead of us, but 2023 saw the most online viewership with just over 7 million devices. (2022 was the first year that online viewership was counted by people rather than devices). Last year the Chiefs vs Eagles met at Super Bowl LVII on FOX, which was the fifth time since 2011 since the big game has been streamed. Unlike last year’s free stream option with FOX, NBC charged to watch the game online. CBS has not confirmed if they will provide a free streaming option in 2024, but this will affect the number of those streaming the Super Bowl 58 online.

As for services, FOX had a delay time of only 1 second behind the over-the-air broadcast – the fastest we’ve ever seen amongst services live-streaming the big game. YouTube TV and Sling lagged significantly in 2023, nearly an entire minute behind the live broadcast.
In prior years, no streaming service has beat out Cable. In 2022, NBC’s Peacock was delayed by 44 seconds behind Cable and in 2021, CBS’s Paramount+ lagged by 37 seconds. With FOX’s accomplishment in 2023, the competition is on for CBS as it preps for the 2024 Super Bowl.
