Which streamers should you keep, cut in February?
The shortest month of the year is here, but there are some key streaming releases you won’t want to miss.
February has arrived! There was once a time when February was considered the doldrums of the TV release calendar; primetime shows would typically release new episodes in February, but the month was usually quite free of new releases or blockbuster movie premieres.
Streaming has changed all that. Now, viewers can count on high-quality new releases in February just as they can during any other month of the year. Check out which streamers have the most robust release schedule in February 2026, and which we think you can safely cut for a month.
Which streamers should you keep, cut in February 2026?
Streamers to keep
Netflix
We recommended Netflix as a streamer to cut in January, but its place on that list was short-lived. The streamer is bringing back two of its most high-profile dramas in February: “The Night Agent” Season 3, and “The Lincoln Lawyer” Season 4.
“The Lincoln Lawyer” Season 4 will see the tables turned on attorney Mickey Haller. Instead of doing the defending, he finds himself in the fight of his life as he tries to prove his innocence after a body is found in the trunk of his car. The show’s fourth season debuts on Netflix on Feb. 5.
“The Night Agent” Season 3 will be as action-packed as ever, with Peter Sutherland diving deeply into the investigation of a dark money network that will take him to locations all over the world. The plot is a deep secret, which means all the more surprises when viewers get to stream it starting Feb. 19.
Netflix will also welcome Season 4, Part 2 of “Bridgerton” on Feb. 26, and a new season of “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” on Feb. 27. All in all, it’s a packed slate for Netflix in February — definitely not the time to be caught without a subscription.
Netflix
Netflix is a leading subscription-based video streaming service that offers on-demand access to an extensive library of over 3,000 movies, 2,000+ TV shows, and a growing collection of acclaimed Netflix originals. Renowned for producing groundbreaking content, Netflix has become a cultural powerhouse with hit originals like “Stranger Things,” “Wednesday,” “Squid Game,” “The Crown,” “Tiger King,” “Bridgerton,” “The Witcher,” and “Black Mirror.”
Disney+/Hulu
Disney Bundle subscribers should make sure to keep their subscriptions in February, especially if they love nostalgia. Disney+ is bringing a new “The Muppet Show!” special hosted by Sabrina Carpenter, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the gang to fans on Feb. 4.
The nostalgia trip continues with the revival of “Scrubs,” which debuts on ABC on Feb. 25 and Hulu the next day. The show reunites J.D., Turk, Dr. Cox, Elliot, and Carla for a new set of medical misadventures at Sacred Heart Hospital — a reunion fans have been waiting for for quite some time. The show’s laughs and deep, resonant emotional themes have stood the test of time and are just as needed as they’ve ever been.

On the newer side of the coin, Hulu is releasing the second season of its thrilling drama series “Paradise” on Feb. 23. The Disney Bundle is always hard to recommend canceling, but in February ,it’s best to make sure you maintain your subscription to the bundle.
Disney+
Disney+ is a video streaming service with over 13,000 series and films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, The Muppets, and more. It is available in 61 countries and 21 languages. It is notable for its popular original series like “The Mandalorian,” “Ms. Marvel,” “Loki,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” and “Andor.”
Peacock
Have you been keeping up with “The Traitors” Season 4? The show has kept viewers on the edge of their seats all season long, with twists, turns, and of course, shocking betrayals. The season finale is set for Feb. 26, but fans will likely be picking their jaws up off the floor for several days after.
The real reason to keep Peacock in February, however, is the streamer’s offering of Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8. Fans can watch the Big Game live on Peacock with a subscription to the service’s Premium plan, and can watch in Ultra-High-Definition 4K with compatible equipment. The $11 monthly starting price of the service is far less than viewers will have to pay for a live TV streaming subscription to a service that carries NBC.
Peacock
Peacock is a subscription video streaming service from NBCUniversal that includes original shows, blockbuster movies, and classic television series. Peacock is home to “Yellowstone,” “The Office,” and original hits like “Poker Face” and “Bel-Air.” You can also watch live sports and NBC programming, including the NFL, MLB, WWE, the Olympics, the Premier League, NASCAR, the French Open, college football and basketball, and the PGA Tour. Premium Plus subscribers can stream their local NBC feed in all 210 markets.
Streamers to cut
Paramount+
If you’re not interested in streaming the Grammys in 2026, there isn’t a ton of compelling content coming to Paramount+ in February. Taylor Sheridan isn’t releasing any new titles on the service this month; his latest release was the season finale of “Landman” in January.
The NFL playoffs are also done on Paramount+, and “Starfleet Academy” will continue releasing new episodes through March. It’s probably safe to let Paramount+ go for at least a month, freeing up a little extra cash to spend on other streaming services.
Paramount Plus
Paramount+ is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 40,000+ TV show episodes from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and more. Get free access with a Walmart+ subscription.
Paramount+ includes “1883,” “Tulsa King,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” and “PAW Patrol.” Subscribers can watch the NFL, college football, The Masters, college basketball, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Serie A, and NWSL. The service also offers the option to watch your live CBS affiliate. The upgraded ad-free package includes premium movies and shows from Showtime.
Apple TV
Don’t let Godzilla hear about Apple TV’s spot on this list. While “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” is debuting this month on the streamer, the rest of the release schedule is fairly light. The 2026 MLS season will be available on Apple TV, but that won’t really ramp up until March. The F1 season doesn’t begin on Apple TV until March either, so we can recommend pausing the streamer at least until then.
Apple TV
Apple TV (formerly known as Apple TV+) is a subscription video streaming service for $14.99 per month, offering a growing slate of original series, films, documentaries, and specials. Unlike other platforms that combine licensed titles with originals, Apple TV is built entirely around exclusive programming, making it the home of critically acclaimed hits such as “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Morning Show,” and “Silo.” Its lineup continues to expand with award-winning dramas, comedies, family-friendly shows, and blockbuster original films like “CODA,” which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
