Streaming services to keep, cut in November
Streaming services to keep, cut in November
If your’e looking to cut down your streaming budget to save money for the holidays this November, here are some services you can cut — and a few you must keep.
Turkey Day is creeping closer. Americans will soon be gathered around the Thanksgiving table with friends and family, ideally enjoying a huge feast with all their favorites. One thing we know for sure, however: November has arrived, and there are some very popular streaming titles coming to top services around the market.
But most viewers can’t keep every streaming service in their roster every month, and often cancel streamers to save money on a month-to-month basis. If you’re looking for a way to cut corners in your entertainment budget this November, we’ve got a list of streamers you must keep this month, and a few you probably don’t need as well.
Which streamers can you keep, cut in November 2025?
Streamers to keep in November 2025
Netflix
Netflix is the obvious starting point for streamers to keep in November 2025, thanks to the release of the first part of “Stranger Things” Season 5. Part 1 of the season is coming to Netflix on Nov. 26, more than three years after Season 4 of the show first debuted on the streamer. Viewers will finally see the beginning of the end of the story for Hawkins, Indiana, and the group of kids determined to save their town from the clutches of evil.

Also debuting on Netflix in November is Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” is available to stream starting on Nov. 7. This interpretation of the classic novel will feature del Toro’s unique touch, and stars Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz.
The new season of “Squid Game: The Challenge” comes to Netflix on Nov. 4, and all that premier content makes the streamer a can’t-miss in the month of November. You can watch all this content with a subscription to Netflix’s Standard with Ads plan starting at $8 per month.
Netflix
Netflix is a leading subscription-based video streaming service that offers on-demand access to an extensive library of over 3,000 movies, 2,000+ TV shows, and a growing collection of acclaimed Netflix originals. Renowned for producing groundbreaking content, Netflix has become a cultural powerhouse with hit originals like “Stranger Things,” “Wednesday,” “Squid Game,” “The Crown,” “Tiger King,” “Bridgerton,” “The Witcher,” and “Black Mirror.”
Hulu
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” has become one of the most sensational unscripted titles on TV in the past few years. It’s a Hulu original, and it returns with a new season’s worth of episodes starting on Nov. 13. What will the group of wives followed by the show’s cameras get up to this season? Only #MomTok knows for sure…

Staying in the world of unscripted fare, “The Kardashians” Season 7 is coming to Hulu on Nov. 6. Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie are back for a new season of business ventures, triumphs, and plenty of drama, and Hulu will have each and every episode of the new season. Those are the main highlights of Hulu’s unscripted release slate for the month, and don’t forget the new, star-studded legal drama “All's Fair,” which comes to the service on Nov. 4.
Hulu
Hulu is a video streaming service that gives access to thousands of full seasons of exclusive series, hit movies, kids shows, and Hulu Originals like “Only Murders in the Building,” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
Paramount+
While Paramount+ has titles like “The Cut” and “Crutch” coming to the streamer in November, the real highlight of the month is the new season of “Landman,” which will premiere on Nov. 16. The series takes viewers to the stark oil fields of Texas, where the drill for black gold overrides everything, and the local economy can’t stand on anything else.
The show is one of many created by Taylor Sheridan for Paramount+, but he won’t be making shows and movies for the streamer much longer. Sheridan is leaving Paramount for a new deal with Comcast’s NBCUniversal starting in 2029, so “Landman” might not get a huge runway to wrap up.
Paramount Plus
Paramount+ is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 40,000+ TV show episodes from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and more. Get free access with a Walmart+ subscription.
Paramount+ includes “1883,” “Tulsa King,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” and “PAW Patrol.” Subscribers can watch the NFL, college football, The Masters, college basketball, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Serie A, and NWSL. The service also offers the option to watch your live CBS affiliate. The upgraded ad-free package includes premium movies and shows from Showtime.
Which streamers can you cut in November?
User’s choice
This November has some really intriguing choices coming to streaming services like Disney+, Prime Video, HBO Max, and Apple TV. But these streamers only have one or two major releases at best during the month, and nothing on the level of the titles discussed above.
You can safely cancel one or all of these streamers at some point in November without having to miss a cultural event on the level of “Stranger Things” Season 5, or even “Landman” Season 2. Check back with them in December to see if you should reconsider any of the above. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t say you were wrong to keep any of these services in November — I just don’t think they have the strongest release slates in November.
