‘Mad Men’ 4K stream on HBO Max holds unexpected goofs
In mid-November, HBO Max announced that it was adding one of the most celebrated drama series of the 2000s in “Mad Men.” Not only is HBO Max streaming all episodes of the show, but customers on the service’s Premium plan can stream it in Ultra-High-Definition 4K for the first time.
The show premiered on the streamer on Dec. 1, and it didn’t take viewers long to spot a hilarious, if stomach-churning mistake. In Season 1, Episode 7 of the show, viewers spotted a tech crew operating a vomit machine off-camera during a scene in which John Slattery’s character, Roger, becomes ill on screen. Series producer Lionsgate Television told Deadline that incorrect files were delivered to HBO Max by mistake, and that the scene would be updated in short order.
