“One Life” | Monday, Aug. 5

Sir Anthony Hopkins leads the biopic of Sir Nicolas “Nicky” Winton, the late London broker who helped rescue over 600 children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia in the months leading up to World War II. Helena Bonham Carter co-stars opposite Hopkins with Lena Olin, Jonathan Pryce, Romola Garai, Alex Sharp, Samantha Spiro, Juliana Moska, Ella Novakova, Samuel Finzi, and more. The film, which had its world premiere late last year at the Toronto International Film Festival, will only be available on a Paramount+ With Showtime plan.

“Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” | Friday, Aug. 9

Cowabunga! Fresh from the sewers, everyone’s favorite pizza-loving heroes “face new threats and team up with old allies to survive both teenage life and villains lurking in the shadows of the Big Apple” in the new Paramount+ Original animated series. Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon, and Ayo Edebiri reprise their voice roles from last year’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” (which is already set for a 2026 film sequel). Rose Byrne, Natasia Demetriou, Austin Post, Alanna Ubach, Pete Davidson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Timothy Olyphant, Jillian Bell, Danny Trejo, Carlin James, and Jamila Velasquez make up the recurring and guest cast.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars” | Friday, Aug. 16

The new iteration of the ever-expanding drag competition series will feature 12 fan-favorite queens from around the world as they represent their countries and compete for the title of “Queen of the Mothertucking World,” a grand prize of $200,000, and a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Contestants in the inaugural season include Alyssa Edwards, Athena Likis, Eva Le Queen, Gala Varo, Kitty Scott-Claus, Kween Kong, Miranda Lebrão, Nehellenia, Pythia, Soa de Muse, Tessa Testicle, and Vanity Vain.

“Sasquatch Sunset” | Monday, Aug. 26

Executive produced by Ari Aster (“Beau Is Afraid,” “Midsommar”), the absurd fantasy drama follows a Sasquatch family in the misty forests of North America as they set off on an epic journey, learning how to fight for survival in an ever-changing world. Riley Keough, Jesse Eisenberg, Christophe Zajac-Denek, and co-director Nathan Zellner lead the cast. The film, also directed and written by David Zellner, premiered at this past year’s Sundance Film Festival.

“Breathe” | Tuesday, Aug. 27

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and Oscar nominee Quvenzhané Wallis play mother and daughter in the thriller, set on a future Earth left uninhabitable due to lack of oxygen where the pair are forced to live underground (with short trips to the surface made possible by a coveted state-of-the-art suit made by Maya’s husband, Darius, presumed to be dead). When a mysterious couple arrives at the bunker claiming to know Darius and his real fate, Maya tentatively agrees to let them in, but the couple is not who they seem, leaving Maya and Zora on a more immediate fight for survival. The cast also features Milla Jovovich, Common, Sam Worthington, Raúl Castillo, and Dan Martin, among others.
