Six different titles will be on the line in Cleveland when the WWE superstars converge for Summerslam 2024. Cody Rhodes will look to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship against The Bloodline’s new Head of the Table Solo Sikoa. Damian Priest will also face Gunther in a World Heavyweight Championship title bout and Bayley will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against the Queen of the Ring Nia Jax. Liv Morgan will look to eliminate Rhea Ripley again as Mami looks to regain the Women’s World Championship.

United States champion Logan Paul will defend his belt against LA Knight while Sami Zayn will look to retain his Intercontinental title against second-generation rising star Bron Breakker. Rounding out the card will be the grudge match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre with Seth “Freakin” Rollins as the special guest referee.

‘Bel-Air’ Season 3 | Aug. 15

‘Homicide: Life on the Street’ | Aug. 19

For years, fans have been clamoring for the iconic police drama “Homicide: Life on the Street” to arrive on streaming. More than two decades following its finale, it was announced last month that it would begin streaming on Peacock on Monday, Aug. 19. Starring Andre Braugher, Richard Belzer, Daniel Baldwin, Clark Johnson, Yaphet Kotto, Melissa Leo, Kyle Secor, Jon Polito, Ned Beatty, Isabella Hofmann, Giancarlo Esposito, Željko Ivanek, and more, “Homicide” redefined what a police procedural could be on television.

The series is based on the book “Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets” by David Simon, who would be a part of the writing and producing teams of the show. He then would go on to create arguably the best crime show in television history, “The Wire.”

‘Face to Face with Scott Peterson’ | Aug. 20

The case has captivated the country for more than 21 years. On Christmas Eve 2002, eight-month pregnant Laci Peterson went missing. The investigation revealed that her husband Scott had been having an affair and was lying regularly. The media followed every twist and turn of the trial as Scott was eventually convicted and sentenced to death.

However, questions about corruption have haunted the conviction ever since. Now, for the first time since before his arrest, Peterson gives an on-camera interview in a series of intimate conversations with director Shareen Anderson. Scott’s family and experts have spent over 20 years working to uncover inconsistencies in the evidence and offering alternative theories about who might have killed Laci. The focus on the case even led the Los Angeles Innocence Project to take over Scott’s case early this year.

‘The Killer’ | Aug. 23

You know that any time that John Woo helms an action film, that it will be thrilling. This radical reimagining of his own 1989 Hong Kong classic follows Zee (played by Nathalie Emmanuel), a mysterious and infamous assassin in the Parisian underworld and known as the Queen of the Dead. But when her shadowy mentor orders her to kill a blinded young woman in a Paris nightclub, Zee refuses and her life gets turned upside down. The decision will disintegrate Zee’s alliances, attract the attention of a savvy police investigator, and plunge her into a sinister criminal conspiracy that will set her on a collision course with her own past.

The film also stars Sam Worthington, Aurélia Agel, Omar Sy, Diana Silvers, and more.
