Fubo adds in-market streams of 4 NHL teams
The Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, and St. Louis Blues had to find new regional distribution partners for the 2026 season, and their respective networks will now be offered by a major sports streamer. Fubo announced on Monday that it would carry RSNs dedicated to these four teams for the 2026-27 season.
Fubo carries RSNs in its Pro and Elite plans, and recently launched its My Local Team mini add-on pack for the Fubo Sports package. The four NHL teams added to Fubo on Monday are also included in the My Local Team add-on.

Fox Nation sends cease and desist over ‘Chris Harrison’s The Vow’
The new Fox Nation dating series “Chris Harrison’s The Vow” is already realizing that some roses have thorns. The series is set to premiere on Fox Nation in November, but the owners of the famed reality show “The Bachelor” are aiming to force some major changes.
As reported by Deadline on Thursday, Warner Bros. Entertainment has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Fox Nation, claiming that the teaser for “The Vow” contains unauthorized uses of the studio’s own intellectual property, among other objections. Fox News Media has pushed back against WB’s claims, and the tussle has not yet been settled to either’s satisfaction.

‘KPop Demon Hunters 2’ aims for wide theatrical release
“KPop Demon Hunters” was a major hit in theaters when it received a limited theatrical release from Netflix in 2025. The movie’s success is one of the factors that convinced Netflix to warm up to theaters a bit more, and its sequel will be getting a much wider release.
Per Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, “KPop Demon Hunters 2” will get a “big, broad, global” theatrical release. The film is expected to hit theaters in 2029, with plenty of Netflix titles expected to hit theaters between now and then. No details have been shared on a target theatrical window for “KPop Demon Hunters 2.”

Paramount+ announces slate of 3 A24 series
On Tuesday, Paramount+ announced that it had picked up U.S. distribution rights to a trio of British TV series from A24. The first is the comedy series “It Gets Worse,” a show about three young people who look around their lives and can’t help but wonder if this is all there is. The second series, “Major Players,” is a coming-of-age drama about two women attempting to start their own soccer team.
Finally, “The Ministry of Time” is an adaptation of the Kaliane Bradley novel of the same name. It follows a woman who is assigned to help a time traveler get used to modern life as part of a top-secret government program.
