Amazon will keep Android-built OS on Fire TV devices
Amazon is rolling out its new Vega OS on its devices, but it appears not all Amazon Fire TV sets and streaming players will be onboarding the new operating system when they hit the market.
Reporting from 9to5 Google indicates that Android will still build the operating system for most devices in its Fire TV line, which could suggest that Vega is only intended to be used on lower-end or low-power devices. That could change in the future, but for now, Android’s Fire TV OS isn’t going away completely.

Prime Video launches AI-powered video recaps
Prime Video is rolling out a new feature called Video Recaps on select Prime originals, the company announced on Wednesday.
