How to Watch 2024 NFL Preseason Games; Live Streams, Game Times, Channels, More
NFL fans, rejoice! The long, tedious offseason is about to end. Regular season games start in less than a month, but live football action begins on Thursday, Aug. 8 when the 2024 NFL preseason begins! It’s the first chance for fans to see new rookies and top-dollar free agents in uniform with their team, and national games will air on NFL Network, Fox, NBC, CBS, and Prime Video. There are multiple streamers that allow you to watch, but in our opinion, the best way is with a three-day free trial of Hulu + Live TV.
How to Watch 2024 NFL Preseason

About 2024 NFL Preseason
The 2024 NFL Draft saw six quarterbacks drafted in the first round, and many of those QBs will be on display on nationally televised preseason games. No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears sat out the Hall of Fame game on ESPN last Thursday but is expected to be in action at some point before the regular season begins.
There’s plenty of intrigue to pay attention to outside the quarterback position around the league, even if preseason games don’t count against a team’s regular season standings. Which high-dollar free agents will show early flashes with their new clubs? Will the dreaded injury bug bite hard this preseason? Which undrafted rookies will rise and cement roster spots at the expense of veterans? You’ll just have to watch and find out!
What is the Schedule for the 2024 NFL Preseason Games on National TV?
Most NFL preseason games are not nationally televised, and will only be available on local broadcast channels in their home markets. Out-of-market NFL preseason games can be found on NFL+.
Why Does The Streamamble Recommend Watching 2024 NFL Preseason Games on Hulu + Live TV?
Hulu + Live TV is our top choice for watching the 2024 NFL preseason because it carries NFL Network in its base channel package, unlike DIRECTV STREAM. Its monthly subscription rate is $76.99, much lower than the $90+ you’ll have to pay to subscribe to Fubo if you have a regional sports network in your area.
Hulu + Live TV won’t allow you to stream the one preseason matchup airing on Prime Video, but outside of that game, you’ll be good to go. Hulu + Live TV offers new customers a three-day free trial, and sports fans wil love the free access to ESPN+ that comes with a Hulu + Live TV subscription, along with Disney+ and Hulu.
