Everything you need to know about streaming the 2025 NFL season
Which TV channels carry NFL games?
There is a good level of continuity in the TV networks that are broadcasting NFL games in 2025. Two of the largest NFL game packages are appearing on channels viewers can get for free in CBS and Fox, which will both host their traditional Sunday afternoon lineups starting Sunday, Sept. 7.
ABC will carry 13 regular-season simulcasts of “Monday Night Football” games on ESPN, and will also host two exclusive games in the regular season. The channel will also have two simulcasts of playoff games appearing on ESPN when the postseason begins.
NBC will carry “Sunday Night Football” once again in 2025, with 18 regular-season games including a contest on Thanksgiving and the season-opener on Thursday, Sept. 4.
ESPN will continue to offer “Monday Night Football” every Monday of the regular season, totaling 21, including weeks with doubleheaders (Weeks 2, 4, 6, and 7). Alternate broadcasts will also appear on ESPN2; the “ManningCast” will be simultaneously broadcast alongside 12 “MNF” games this year.
NFL Network will carry seven games in 2025, including six international games and a Saturday game.

Which live TV streamers are best for watching the 2025 NFL season?
There are a number of live TV streaming services that carry channels that offer live NFL games. We’ll explain which ones are our favorite, and why we ranked them the way we did below!
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is our favorite choice for watching the 2025 NFL season. Its MySports Genre Pack carries ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC in some markets, as well as ESPN and NFL Network everywhere. It also comes with free access to the new ESPN direct-to-consumer service, a five-day free trial, and a price of $70 per month.
You can also pick from DIRECTV Signature channel plans starting at $85 per month, and you can choose to stream with your own device or with a Gemini device sent to you by DIRECTV. NFL RedZone is available in add-on packages with DIRECTV as well.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV comes with a three-day free trial, and all the channels listed above come in its base channel plan. That package costs $83 per month to bundle with Disney+, Hulu, and the ESPN streamer, and you can upgrade that bundle for more access and fewer ads if you wish. NFL RedZone is available in an add-on, as well.
Hulu Live TV
Hulu Live TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 70 channels for $89.99 per month. Hulu + Live TV base plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs). Subscribers get free access to Disney+ and ESPN Select at no extra charge.
Fubo
Fubo has a new offering you can use to watch the 2025 NFL season in its Fubo Sports service. For $56 per month (not including a special $10 discount available to new customers at launch), this platform allows you to watch ABC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, and NFL Network, though it doesn’t have NBC.
You can get NBC in Fubo packages starting with the Pro plan, starting at $85 per month before regional sports network fees. This package comes with a free trial that can last as little as one day or as long as seven. The NFL RedZone channel can also be bundled with Fubo packages using an add-on.
Fubo
Fubo is a live TV streaming service offering a robust lineup of approximately 150 premier channels, with plans starting at $63.99 per month. This entry-level package provides access to local broadcast affiliates 18 of the leading 35 cable channels channels, and valuable regional sports networks (RSNs).
Sling TV
Sling TV isn’t quite as good for watching some NFL games all in one place, since it doesn’t carry CBS anywhere, and it only offers NBC, Fox, and ABC in select markets around the United States. These channels, along with NFL Network, are available in the Sling Select plan for $20 per month, or the Sling Blue package for $46.
Sling’s Orange package offers the ESPN family of channels and costs $46 per month. However, Sling TV Passes allow customers to watch Sling Orange programming, including ESPN, for $5 per day, $10 per weekend, or $15 per week. If you can find ways to add local channels reliably for a low cost, Sling TV might be a great way for you to stream the NFL this season.
Sling TV
Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.
You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV has all the NFL broadcast and cable channels you’ll need this season, and its base price of $83 per month is middle-of-the-road. But it doesn’t have any free streaming services included in the price, and customers who sign up at different times of the month may get different free trial offers with the service.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 60 channels for $82.99/month. This plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs) in select markets. The base plan includes more than 100 live channels, including major broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, as well as popular cable channels such as ESPN, CNN, FX, USA Network, and TNT. Local channels are included in most markets, making YouTube TV a full replacement for traditional cable for many viewers.
Which NFL games can you watch with an antenna?
Any NFL games airing on ABC, CBS, Fox, or NBC can be watched with an over-the-air antenna. These connect easily to most modern TVs with a coaxial cable and will allow you to watch games airing in your local market on these channels. There’s no monthly subscription fee to watch this way; just pay the one-time purchase price of the antenna and plug it into the TV! The Streamable recommends browsing Mohu antennas, which come in a variety of ranges and price points.
Which streamers allow you to watch NFL games in 4K?
Many of the live TV streaming services listed above have 4K viewing options, and NFL games have been broadcast in 4K by ESPN, Fox, and NBC in the past.
DIRECTV will offer games in 4K on special channels that are available to all subscribers starting with the MySports package. Fubo offers 4K games in the Elite with the Sports Plus plan, and Sling TV carries 4K events for both Sling Blue and Sling Select subscribers. YouTube TV customers have to sign up for the 4K Plus add-on for an additional $10 per month to watch any 4K programming.
Which streamers let you add NFL RedZone?
You can add NFL RedZone to any of the live TV streamers in the table below. Viewers don’t need any of these services to watch; however, the cheapest way to watch NFL RedZone on its own is with a subscription to NFL+ Premium, which starts at $15 per month or $100 per year.
| Streaming Service | Add-on needed for NFL RedZone | Price of add-on |
|---|---|---|
| DIRECTV | Sports Add-on (Signature package) - MySports Extra mini pack (MySports Genre Pack) |
$15 per month (Sports Pack) -$13 per month (MySports Etxra) |
| Fubo | Sports Plus with NFL RedZone | $11 per month |
| Hulu + Live TV | Sports Add-on | $10 per month |
| Sling TV | Sports Extra (requires Sling Blue) | $11 per month |
| YouTube TV | Sports Plus | $11 per month |
| ESPN DTC service | Bundle with NFL+ Premium | $40 per month for bundle |
