Peacock Announces Exclusive Big Ten Basketball Schedule

We are just one month into the 2023 college football season, but tipoff is quickly approaching for the men’s and women’s basketball slates as well. While the gridiron got most of the attention when the Big Ten signed its massive $7 billion deal with CBS, Fox, and NBC last year, included in a slew of streaming exclusive basketball games that will only be available on Peacock.

The NBCUniversal streaming service will provide exclusive access to 56 non-conference games, conference matchups, and early-round Big Ten Tournament contests kicking off with men’s action in November, with women’s games getting underway on the streamer in January 2024.

Every men’s team in the league will make at least one appearance on Peacock with Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Purdue, and Wisconsin all playing at least five games that will air exclusively on the streamer. The first-ever Peacock-exclusive Big Ten basketball game will occur on Monday, Nov. 6 as Princeton and Rutgers (the two schools who played in the first-ever college football game) will square off in Trenton New Jersey at 7 p.m.

On the women’s side, the reigning National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark and the defending Big Ten champion Iowa Hawkeyes will make eight appearances on Peacock, the most of any women’s program.
