About 2024-25 NBA Season

As usual, there are a huge number of storylines to follow in the upcoming NBA regular season. One of the greats in the game could be on his way out, and now that LeBron James is realizing his dream of playing with his son on the Los Angeles Lakers, one has to wonder how long he’ll be in the league going forward.

The Boston Celtics will try to defend their 2023-24 NBA championship, but they’ll have plenty of competition from the likes of the Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder and others. The season promises to have plenty of twists, turns and drama, and fans can watch all of it unfold from the comfort of their couch.

How to Watch the 2024-25 NBA Season on National TV

NBA TV will air select contests throughout the 2024-25 regular season and some playoff games. Otherwise, the NBA’s national broadcasting partners will continue to be ESPN and TNT; next season, they are likely to expand to include NBC and Prime Video, while leaving TNT out of the equation.

Where Can You Watch Out-of-Market NBA Games?

NBA League Pass is the ideal way to stream out-of-market NBA contests.

If you live outside the television market of your favorite NBA club, you’ll want a subscription to NBA League Pass. This service allows you to stream all out-of-market regular season games from around the league starting at $17 per month, or watch games from just one team for $14. Any out-of-market games not found on national channels will be available to stream with a League Pass subscription, and the service includes a multiview feature, access to alternative broadcasts, and much more.

Which Live TV Streaming Service Has the Most NBA Games?

DIRECTV STREAM is the best service for watching the 2024-25 NBA season altogether.

DIRECTV STREAM is our top choice for watching the most possible NBA games. The only regional sports network listed above that it doesn’t carry is NBC Sports Philadelphia, and it offers ESPN and TNT in all base packages. Viewers will need to upgrade to the CHOICE package to get regional sports networks with their subscription ($115 per month) and to add on the Sports pack ($15 per month) to get NBA TV.

Fubo is the only other live TV service that carries a large number of RSNs, but it doesn’t carry TNT in its lineup, so you’ll be missing a big chunk of national games with this option. Fubo plans start at $95 per month including the regional sports network fee, though like with DIRECTV you’ll have to grab an add-on to watch NBA TV with Fubo.

Sling TV is a cheap way to watch national NBA games, as it carries ESPN and TNT in its Orange package starting at $40 per month. The Sports Extra pack ($11 per month) has NBA TV, so it’s a good way to stream at least some NBA basketball, even though it carries no RSNs and few areas get local channels.
