How to watch NFL games live on Paramount+ without cable in 2026
If you want to watch the NFL in 2026, Paramount+ is a great way to tune in and catch the action all season long. If you choose the Premium plan ($13.99 / month), you’ll get all the live NFL games that air on your local CBS affiliate every week. CBS carries AFC games and one of the annual Thanksgiving games. This makes it a great partner for a live streamer like Sling TV, which offers other important NFL channels, but not CBS.

Which NFL games are not available on Paramount+?
Games that are not broadcast on CBS will not be available on Paramount+. While you can watch a select few games, you might want to explore watching the NFL on Sling, which offers a much more comprehensive set of NFL channels.
NFC on FOX
FOX hosts your local NFC teams and also allows you to watch in 4K. While streamers like Fubo offer the 4K feed, you can use any TV provider and sign in with the Fox Sports App to see the 4K feed without an additional fee.
Sunday Night on NBC
As usual, NBC carries Sunday Night Football. Every NBC game is also available on Peacock, so if you only care about Sunday Night Football, that’s your cheapest option.
Monday Night on ESPN and ABC
The Worldwide Leader in Sports is still home to Monday Night Football. You’ll see every MNF game on ESPN, whereas ABC will simulcast a select few games as well.
The cheapest option for watching ESPN is Sling TV. You can try it for 50% off your first month.
Christmas and Thanksgiving Games on Netflix
Netflix carries one game on Thanksgiving Day, and on Christmas Day (December 25), Netflix will broadcast two games, while Prime Video will handle a third.
Thursday Games on Prime Video
If you want to watch Thursday Night Football, the Black Friday game, and one playoff game during Super Wild Card Weekend (TBD), you must have this service.
If you live in a market for a Thursday night team, you can watch the game on a local network.
Can I watch the Super Bowl on Paramount+?
You cannot watch the Super Bowl on Paramount+ in 2027.
Super Bowl LXI takes place on February 14, 2027, and will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC — a first for the networks.
