How to watch your favorite NBA team’s local games
The 2025-26 NBA season is starting on Oct. 21, and we’ll let you see how to watch local games from every team all season.
Happy NBA Day to those who celebrate! It’s roundball season at last, as on Oct. 21, the NBA tips off with two games before getting most other teams in the league into action on Wednesday, Oct. 22. There are plenty of big changes this year, especially to the NBA’s national broadcasting partnerships.
But one thing that hasn’t changed in 2025 is the fact that most teams will play most of their games on a day-in, day-out basis on local broadcast channels or regional sports networks (RSNs), not national streaming services or cable channels. That means you’ll need to know which channel your local team plays on in your market, or which direct-to-consumer service you can use to stream their games without a pay-TV subscription!
We’ve assembled a complete guide of the channels and streaming services you can watch in-market NBA games on to make it easy for viewers to find their games. Check out our chart below to find your favorite team, and read about our favorite streaming services for watching in-market and out-of-market games each and every time your club is on the court.

What TV channel does each NBA team play in-market games on?
More than 10 NBA teams are still playing on FanDuel Sports Network regional sports networks in various networks across the country, and other clubs around the league play on a mix of independent RSNs, NBC Sports channels, and local broadcast networks. Check out the chart of where every team in the league plays below!
The only two live TV streaming services that widely carry regional sports networks (RSNs) are DIRECTV and Fubo. From a price and channel perspective, we would recommend DIRECTV, but both are viable options.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.

Where to stream in-market games from all NBA teams
Any of the teams that play on a FanDuel Sports Network channel, as listed above, can be streamed on the FanDuel Sports Network DTC service for $20 per month. Every other team in the league has a method to watch games without a pay-TV subscription on their RSNs or channel partners, with one exception: the Houston Rockets. In 2025, the Rockets are the only team in the league that will not have a DTC partner.
FanDuel Sports Network
FanDuel Sports Network is a direct-to-consumer streaming service that offers live games for those who want access to your local FanDuel Sports Network RSN without subscribing to a cable or satellite package. It was most recently known as Bally Sports, and prior to that, Fox Sports Network.
