DIRECTV STREAM is streaming version of the DIRECTV service with 4 plans starting at $86.99 a month.

DIRECTV STREAM Plans

  • Entertainment (65+ Channels): $86.99/mo.
  • Choice (90+ Channels): $114.99/mo.
  • Ultimate (130+ Channels): $129.99/mo.
  • Premier (140+ Channels): $169.99/mo.

Regardless of the plan that you subscribe to, you can stream the service on a wide-variety of devices including streaming players, Smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, and your browser. With DIRECTV STREAM, you can either choose to use your own streaming device from most popular platforms like Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, or Android TV, or to purchase their Android TV-based DIRECTV STREAM Device.

Unlike their satellite service, it doesn’t cost anything to use your own device. You can purchase their DIRECTV STREAM Device for $10 a month, or $120 to buy it outright. The advantage to the DIRECTV STREAM Device is that it comes with a remote with number pad, meaning you can change channels just like you did with their satellite service.

What Devices Does DIRECTV STREAM Support?

DIRECTV STREAM is compatible with Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, Android TV, iPhone/iPad, Android Phone/Tablet, Mac, Windows, LG Smart TV, Samsung Smart TV, Sony Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.

Unfortunately, DIRECTV STREAM isn’t compatible with PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and onn. You will need a different streaming device if you want to watch DIRECTV STREAM.
