The Weather Channel announced today that their free streaming service, Local Now, will now be available on Vizio SmartCast TVs. The service offers real-time, localized information about current events, weather, lifestyle, sports and business for free.

Local Now’s partners includes Reuters, Associated Press, Tribune Content Agency, Yelp, Cheddar, SportRadar, Internet Video Archive, TrafficLand, INRIX, Flight Aware and more.
Local Now is available across a portfolio of over-the-top (OTT), mobile, and TV platforms, including YouTube TV, Apple TV, Sling TV, Xumo, MobiTV, fuboTV, Plex, iOS, Android, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.
