Audible Review

Audible Originals are exclusive audiobooks and audio series available only on Audible. These groundbreaking titles feature content from A-list celebrities, acclaimed authors, and emerging talent. They offer stories and performances you won’t find anywhere else.

Originals span every genre, from gripping dramas and mysteries to inspiring nonfiction and immersive fiction. Many include full-cast performances, original music, or narration by the author or celebrity talent, creating a more cinematic listening experience.

Audible Originals are included with membership or available for purchase, can be downloaded for offline listening, and sync across devices. That means these episodes or chapters can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere. It’s a unique way to discover fresh voices, hear stories in new formats, and experience content that goes beyond traditional audiobooks.

Amazon Family lets household members share Prime benefits and a Family Library, including purchased Audible titles. One adult can share with another adult and up to four children. Membership credits or Plus Catalog titles can’t be shared.

To set up an Adult account, go to the Amazon Family page, select “Add Adult,” and either send an email invitation or sign up together. For a Child account, select “Add a Child,” enter the child’s name and birthday, and save. Audible doesn’t support Teen accounts.

Sharing audiobooks is simple. For adults, go to the Manage Your Content and Devices page on Amazon, pick an audiobook from the Library, and select “Add to Library.” For children, use the Amazon Parent Dashboard, select the Child account, go to Content → Amazon Content → Audible, and toggle on the titles to share. Kids can also listen using a Kids Profile on the Audible app.

Shared titles can be accessed on multiple devices. Adult accounts can use Audible iOS and Android apps, Cloud Player, Echo devices, Fire tablets, and Kindle apps or eReaders. Child accounts can access shared titles on Echo devices, Fire tablets, and Kindle eReaders.

Audible lets titles be downloaded for listening without an internet connection—perfect for commutes, road trips, flights, or any place WiFi is limited. Audiobooks, podcasts, and Originals are ready to play anytime, keeping stories and information within reach.

Downloaded content stays organized in the Library, and progress syncs across devices, so listening picks up right where it left off. Bookmarks, playlists, and adjustable narration speed work offline, delivering the same smooth, flexible experience as streaming.

Audible has a wide range of podcasts, including Originals, exclusives, and popular shows across genres like true crime, comedy, history, and wellness. Episodes can be streamed or downloaded for offline listening on iOS, Android, Fire Tablet, Kindle, Echo devices, and the Audible website.

Podcasts can be added to the Library, organized into playlists, and, if kid-friendly, shared with a Kids Profile. Listening progress syncs across devices, so episodes can be resumed on any supported device. Audible also provides curated recommendations, highlighting new and trending podcasts based on listening history.

Audible features a vast collection of audiobooks, spanning fiction, nonfiction, thrillers, romance, sci-fi, fantasy, self-help, history, and biographies. Titles can be streamed or downloaded for offline listening on iOS, Android, and the Audible website.

Each audiobook comes with features to enhance the listening experience: bookmarks, chapter navigation, and adjustable narration speed. Whispersync for Voice lets you switch between reading a Kindle book and listening to the audiobook without losing your place. Purchased titles are stored in the Library and can be organized into custom lists. Kids-friendly audiobooks can also be shared with a Kids Profile.

Audible Originals and exclusive editions offer unique content unavailable elsewhere, including early releases, author-narrated books, and special series.

A Kids Profile creates a safe listening space in the Audible app, giving access only to titles you share—purchased or included with your membership. Kids can organize and play through lists of shared titles.

Available on iOS, Android, and the Audible website, Fire Tablet, Kindle, or Echo devices require a Child account via Amazon Family Library. Each Audible account can create one Kids Profile, and children can only access shared titles. Listening positions reset when switching devices.

Multiple kids can use the same profile on different devices at once. Narration speed can be adjusted, but settings sync with the primary account for that device. Switch profiles in the app by selecting your name, then “Kids,” and sign back into the adult profile with Amazon credentials when needed.

Audible accounts are tied to a specific country or region. Being in the correct marketplace gives you access to region-specific titles, accurate pricing, and support for account issues. Some titles may be restricted by location, and coupon balances cannot transfer between marketplaces.

To change marketplaces, sign out in the app’s Profile settings, then sign back in and select the desired country.

Account migration is available for select regions. Migration to Audible AU is done through Audible.com.au following the on-screen transfer steps. Migration to Audible Canada or Audible Brazil requires contacting Audible Customer Support. Brazilian accounts require a Brazilian billing address, payment method, and CPF. Membership in Brazil is R$ 9,95/month for the first three months, then R$ 19,90/month.

Migration can usually be done only once. Some account data, like pre-orders or Listener Page info, may not transfer. Memberships billed through the App Store or Google Play cannot migrate.
