Deezer offers more than 120 million tracks, covering global hits, niche genres, and deep catalogs. Personalized mixes and playlists are built from listening habits, surfacing new and familiar music without extra effort.

Lyrics are available for most songs, with translation options for select tracks. Paid plans include ad-free listening, plus offline downloads for albums, playlists, and podcasts.

Extra features add more ways to engage. Song recognition can identify music playing nearby, and in-app quizzes bring a more interactive side to listening. The app is available in over 180 countries and 26 languages, with simple tools to transfer existing playlists and favorites without losing a library

Deezer’s Originals feature exclusive releases, curated content, and artist-led projects in one dedicated section. Marked “Only on Deezer,” these include special EPs, re-recorded tracks, and artist commentary from names like Dua Lipa and Gorillaz, along with emerging local acts.

Key series highlights different formats. Deezer Sessions presents live performances recorded for the platform, and the InVersions series features artists covering songs from different decades. Deezer Next focuses on new talent and discovery.

Exclusives go beyond music. Original podcasts, artist-curated playlists such as “Playlist of My Life,” and DJ mixes across electronic and dance genres are all included within the Deezer Originals section.

Deezer includes multiple audio quality settings, with High Fidelity available on paid plans. HiFi provides CD-quality, lossless FLAC audio at 16-bit/44.1 kHz, with millions of tracks available in this format.

Additional tiers include “Better” at 320 kbps MP3, “Standard” at 128 kbps MP3, and basic free-tier audio at lower bitrates. Audio quality settings can be adjusted for mobile data, WiFi, and downloads to control sound quality and data usage.

Streaming limits vary by subscription plan. Deezer Family allows up to 6 accounts to stream simultaneously across up to 13 connected devices. Deezer Duo supports 2 simultaneous streams across 2 accounts, with up to 5 connected devices.

Deezer Premium, Student, and Free plans allow one active stream at a time. Multiple devices can be connected, but playback only runs on one device per account. Starting playback on a second device stops the first stream.

Device connections differ from streaming limits. Premium accounts can link up to 3 devices for use and downloads, even though only one device can stream at any moment.

Deezer Family supports up to 6 individual accounts under one subscription, with up to 13 connected devices across the household. Each member gets ad-free listening, high-quality audio, and full access to playlists, Flow, and the music library.

Every account operates separately, with its own recommendations, favorites, and playback history. HiFi sound is included for all members, with access across phones, tablets, desktops, smart speakers, TVs, and select consoles.

The plan also includes shared listening through Family Mix and Kids profiles for children up to age 12, giving households flexible control over how music is used and shared.

No connection? No problem. Songs, albums, and playlists can be downloaded for offline playback, eliminating mobile data use during commutes, flights, or travel abroad.

All downloads are stored directly on the device and organized in a dedicated Library section with automatic syncing. Podcasts can be downloaded alongside music, and offline listening is supported across compatible devices, including Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Garmin.

There is a dedicated Podcasts tab within the Explore section, with access to more than 160,000 shows across news, comedy, sports, music, movies, and topical discussions. Original productions appear alongside curated audio and widely available podcast series.

Podcasts are available on both free and paid plans. Browsing is organized by genre for easier discovery. Favorite shows can be followed, with the latest episodes appearing directly in the library.

Access depends on device type. Podcasts are prominent in mobile and web apps, but are available on only some smart TV platforms.

Audiobook content is primarily available in Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria. In these regions, audiobooks appear in the Explore tab and through searches for “Audiobooks,” covering a range of genres and titles.

Outside these markets, access is limited, and some titles may not appear, although certain results can still show in search. Where available, audiobooks can be favorited, added to playlists, and downloaded for offline listening in the same way as music.

Additional listening options feature “For book lovers” collections and podcast channels such as Pigeon Audiobooks, featuring classics and personal development content in broader regions.

Deezer Family includes Kids profiles for children up to age 12 within the same subscription. The admin can create separate accounts for family members or set up child profiles under the Family plan.

Kids’ profiles limit access to age-appropriate content inside the Deezer platform. Each profile uses its own recommendations, favorites, and listening activity.

Family setup allows the admin to manage up to 6 accounts under one plan, with individual access controlled through profile settings across the household.

Deezer is available in over 180 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. A Country Selector in settings allows switching regions to access local music, playlists, and radio stations from different countries.
