Fern Siegel

Comedian Patton Oswalt is back on Netflix with his third comedy special.

“I Love Everything” debuts today — and it deals with a myriad of subjects, from middle age to parenthood to unleashing his anger at someone or something called Kirby.

One of his Netflix stand-ups, “Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping,” won an Emmy. The other, “Annihilation,” discussed his wife’s unexpected death in 2016.

The actor became known for his role in the comedy “The King of Queens” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” A noted voice actor, he voiced the main character, Max, in the 2019 film “The Secret Life of Pets 2,” as well as Remy for “Ratatouille.” He presently narrates the voice of Adam Goldberg for the sitcom “The Goldbergs.”

Oswalt is one of several comics enjoying Netflix stand-up specials this year.

Hasan Minhaj launched new episodes of “Patriot Act” starting May 17 on the streamer, which is also airing the “Eric Andre: Legalize Everything” special on June 23. “Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill” aired May 5 at New York’s restored Beacon Theater, combining new and archival material.

Hannah Gadsby,” the Australian comic-actress, streams her second Netflix special “Hannah Gadsby: Douglas” on May 26.

In addition, Tina Fey (“30 Rock”) is executive producing a new animated comedy for the streamer. The comedy takes place after aliens destroy Earth and humans have to rebuild their world. The 20-episode “Mulligan” is being co-produced with her partner Robert Carlock under their respective Little Stranger and Bevel Gears production companies.
