“Killing Eve” is making an early comeback. The hit TV show’s season three premiere has been moved up by two weeks and will drop on April 12 instead of the original April 26 air date. The show will be simulcast on BBC America and AMC.

Season three of the show picks up “in the wake of Villanelle shooting Eve in the Season 2 finale,” according to TVLine. he eight-episode season will most likely see more deviations from the book as the previous two have seen the gender-switching of characters, invention of new characters as well as alterations to canon relationships.
“We know how adored this series is and we know how keen people are for great content right now,” said AMC Networks president, Sarah Barnett. “This season of ‘Killing Eve’ digs deep psychologically, and with actors like Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw the results are nothing short of astonishing. We literally couldn’t wait for fans to see it.”
The third season also comes with a new showrunner in Suzanne Heathcote who was previously a part of the writing team for the third season of “Fear the Walking Dead.” Heathcote will take over from Emerald Fennell, who served as showrunner for season two. Award-winning actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge was showrunner during the first season.
