Disney+ in September 2024: ‘Agatha All Along’ Premiere, ‘Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy,’ More
New calendar month, new offerings from Disney+! The streamer’s light summer continues, but one of the year’s biggest and most anticipated series will have its debut this month: the Marvel Studios/Marvel Television spinoff series “Agatha All Along.” Kathryn Hahn reprises her Emmy-nominated “WandaVision” role as the infamous witch Agatha Hackness as she works with some unlikely allies on her quest to regain her former powers. “Heartstopper” star Joe Locke co-stars in the new MCU addition, which will premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 18 with new episodes continuing to debut throughout September and October.
Also in September, ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” will premiere its 33rd season, and Disney+ subscribers will be able to watch the new season live right along those with cable. So far, Olympic Bronze medalist and pommel horse specialist Stephen Nedoroscik is the only confirmed cast member, but the full roster will be announced during the first week of the month.

“LEGO Pixar: BrickToons” Premiere | Wednesday, Sept. 4
The brand-new shorts series puts characters from Pixar favorites, including “Coco,” “Cars,” “Finding Nemo,” “The Incredibles,” and “Brave,” on brand-new adventures set in the world of LEGO. The five-episode collection will begin with “Coco: Family Bands Together,” a new adventure featuring Miguel and Hector from the Oscar-winning 2017 film.

“LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy” | Friday, Sept. 13
Lucasfilms’ latest sees the entire “Star Wars” galaxy in literal pieces. When ordinary nerf-herder Sig Greebling unearths a powerful artifact from a hidden Jedi temple, he finds himself on an adventure “in a new, wondrously wild and twisted version of the galaxy where good guys are bad, bad guys are good, and the fate of all depends on Sig becoming the hero who can put all the pieces back together.” Gaten Matarazzo leads the all-star voice cast with Tony Revolori, Bobby Moynihan, Marsai Martin, Michael Cusack, Ahmed Best, and Mark Hamill. All four episodes will be available on Friday the 13th.

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 33 Premiere (Live) | Tuesday, Sept. 17
“Dancing With the Stars” returns for its 33rd season, with co-hosts Alfonso Riberio and Julianne Hough welcoming a new cast of celebrities from around the entertainment world to compete in the show’s themed choreographed routines with trained ballroom dancers. Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Derek Hough return to the judges’ panel. So far, two-time Olympic Bronze medalist and pommel horse specialist Stephen Nedoroscik is the only confirmed cast member, but the full roster will be announced on “GMA” on Sept. 4. The season premiere will stream live on Disney+, followed by weekly episodes every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.

“Marvel Television's Agatha All Along” Two-Episode Premiere | Wednesday, Sept. 18
Go back down, down, down The Road. with the infamous Agatha Harkness. Kathryn Hahn reprises her Emmy-nominated role in the spinoff with the centuries’-old witch, once disguised as Wanda and Vision’s nosy neighbor in “WandaVision,” now down and out of power as a suspicious teen (Joe Locke) helps her break free from a distorted spell, taking him on the legendary Witches’ Road gauntlet of trials. The Marvel Television series also stars Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Aubrey Plaza, and Patti LuPone. New episodes will be available on Wednesdays exclusively on Disney+

“Ayla & the Mirrors” Premiere | Friday, Sept. 27
The original Spanish series premieres this month, with newcomer Violeta Madel in the starring role of Ayla, a rich and spoiled girl who suffers the shocking loss of her father and is left without memories. After arriving at a shelter, she meets Inés and The Mirrors, a dance group that helps her realize she has the ability to hear the feelings of others through musical visions.
