Halloween eve just got a little bit more interesting for fight fans.
Today, ESPN announced that UFC 267: Błachowicz vs. Teixeira will be available for all ESPN+ subscribers and not just those who purchase the PPV.
UFC 267: Błachowicz vs. Teixeira will stream exclusively on ESPN+ and give all subscribers a chance to watch a nice card featuring two championship bouts. In the main event, UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Błachowicz will take on top contender Glover Teixeira. In the co-main event, third-ranked bantamweight contender Cory Sandhagen steps in against former Champion, and number 1 contender, Petr Yan for the interim UFC bantamweight title.
ESPN hopes its subscribers will fall in love with its UFC content offerings in time for UFC 268, a truly monumental event in the world of MMA. On November 6, UFC 268 will take place from Madison Square Garden, once a “white whale” location for MMA. New York has historically been a place where MMA has been barred but new legislation finally opened up the Big Apple to mixed martial arts in 2016 after a near-20 year ban.
UFC 268 will be headlined by UFC welterweight champion, and the UFC’s top-ranked pound-for-pound fighter, Kamaru Usman defending his title against no.1 contender Colby Covington. The co-main for UFC 268 will feature a rematch as well when UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas defends her title against challenger Zhang Weili, who she took the title from in April in a stunning first-round knockout.
UFC 267 airs live from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, October 30, starting at 10 AM ET. The Main Card will kick off at 2 PM ET.
