NCAA March Madness Live — Turner’s streaming app for the Men’s College Basketball Tournament — is now available on Android TV.
Prior to today, most Android TV-owners would use the built-in “Casting” functionality to mirror the game on screen with devices like NVIDIA Shield and Xiaomi MiBox. With the addition of Android TV, you can now stream on all major platforms including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Xbox, iOS, Android, and Web.
Starting on March 19th, the streaming app will allow you to watch every March Madness game live (except those airing locally on CBS) when you authenticate with your cable, satellite, streaming service subscription. Your local CBS games can be viewed using the March Madness Live Android or iOS App.
As of today, the only streaming services supported are PlayStation Vue, Hulu Live TV, and YouTube TV. If you don’t have an account, you can access a 3-hour preview to watch games.
