After months of extensions, Dish and ViacomCBS have reached a deal that will keep their channels on both Dish Network and Sling TV.
Sources familiar with the matter tell The Streamable that no changes will be made on the Dish side, but there will be changes on Sling. In the near future, it’s expected that ViacomCBS channels carried on Sling Blue base package, will also be available on Sling Orange.
BET, Comedy Central, Nick Jr., and Paramount Network are currently part of Sling’s Blue Plan ($30), while the rest are a part of various add-ons to the Sling service. Viacom (now ViacomCBS) and Dish last signed a multi-year deal in April 2016, which was set to expire in late-April.
Viacom channels are currently available to stream most widely on Philo ($20), as well as AT&T TV NOW ($55), fuboTV ($60), YouTube TV ($65).

YouTube TV announced a carriage deal with ViacomCBS in May, but saw a $15 price hike of the service as a result. Sling TV just last week announced a 1-year price guarantee for new and existing subscribers.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but the two sides said the new multi-year renewal will continue to bring “ViacomCBS’s portfolio of broadcast, entertainment, news and sports networks to DISH and SLING TV customers.”
