Max Ditched Its Free Trial: What You Need to Know
In today’s streaming world where there are a ton of options free trials are an excellent way to test the waters of a service before deciding whether or not you want to commit to paying for a service. Throughout its history, the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned streaming service now known as Max has had an inconsistent history of free trials, and unfortunately, as of now, the service is not offering a free trial either directly or through any third-party partners.
However, there are still ways to save on the service. Recently, Max has joined with Disney+ and Hulu to create a first-of-its-kind bundle. You can sign up for the ad-supported version of the services for just $17 per month or go ad-free for $30.
What Plan Options Does Max Have?
Max offers three different subscription plans, and both come with either a monthly or annual option. These plans are:
- Max With Ads: $10 per month or $100 per year (16% savings)
- Max Ad-Free: $17 per month or $170 per year (16% savings)
- Max Ultimate Ad-Free: $21 per month of $210 per year (16% savings)
All three subscription options offer the same access to new and library content on Max. Beyond the obvious difference between the Max With Ads and Max Ad-Free plans, the ad-free option also allows customers to download up to 30 titles in order to watch them on the go. Both plans allow for simultaneous streaming on two devices and full HD 1080p video quality.
When upgrading to the Max Ultimate Ad-Free package, the video quality increases to 4K UHD, and also includes Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10 on select titles. Customers on this plan also have the ability to download up to 100 titles for offline viewing.
