Hulu has just begun rolling out updates to their Windows 10 app, including the app’s new design and icon, to match the web version. The new app will be a progressive web app, which means it will act like a typical Windows 10 app.
Hulu confirmed plans to update the app on Twitter, saying that it should be available for all Windows 10 users within a few weeks. They declined to give any additional details.
This update is especially exciting for Microsoft tablet users, who can access the updated Hulu design from an app instead of having to open the web version.
Hulu’s basic streaming plan is available for $7.99 per month, or $11.99 without ads. For access to live local channels and 26 of the top 35 cable channels, try Hulu Live TV for $39.99 per month.
