Netflix’s hit crime drama “Ozark,” starring Laura Linney and Jason Bateman, has been renewed for a fourth and final season.
That final season will be 14 episodes, but split into two parts.
No premiere date has been announced.
Executive producer-showrunner Chris Mundy stated: “We’re so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving ‘Ozark’ more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right. It’s been such a great adventure for all of us, both on screen and off, so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible.”
Bateman is also an executive producer on the series and involved in the creative process. Linney will be a co-executive producer for season four.
Cast members in the final season also include Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan and Lisa Emery.
“Ozark” has scored 14 Emmy nominations. Bateman won for best directing in a drama series, while Garner won best supporting actress in a drama series.
