Hulu Live TV

In addition to 33 of the top 35 cable channels, and an unlimited DVR, Hulu Live TV also includes free access to Hulu on demand, Disney+, and ESPN+. No other service gives you so much entertainment for one subscription.

ESPN+ is the only way to watch the Week 7 Chargers vs. Cardinals game. That will be free if you have Hulu Live TV.

It’s important to note Hulu Live TV will be raising its prices in October.

NFL channels: ABC, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, NBC, NFL Network, and NFL RedZone

DIRECTV STREAM

Normally one of our top choices for watching the NFL (or any sport), DIRECTV STREAM is currently fighting with Disney, so it currently doesn’t have ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. However, that spat means users can get a $20 rebate, presumably as long as the standoff wears on. Since that only affects Monday Night Football, you could simply go to your local sports bar and spend that $20 on chicken wings.

DIRECTV STREAM’s current deal gives you ongoing discounts.

If you get the cheapest channel lineup (the Entertainment Package) and the Sports Pack (including NFL RedZone), you get $15 off your first two months.

A superior option is to choose the Choice or Ultimate channel package. You’d get $20 off your first three months. The “Choice” lineup is also great because you’ll have those important regional sports networks when the NBA and NHL start up in October.

Unfortunately, DIRECTV STREAM is joining Hulu Live TV with price hikes in October.

Still, DIRECTV STREAM is a great service. Minus those Disney-owned channels, you get 35 of the top 35 cable channels, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home.

Sling TV

Sling TV includes 27 of the top 35 cable channels. Sling’s unique price structure allows you to save a significant amount of money if you’re willing to choose a smaller channel bundle. Overall, the service offers as many as 143 channels.

Sling does not offer CBS, but you could get Paramount+ to watch NFL games from CBS every Sunday.

Although Sling does offer ABC, it’s only available in eight markets: Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, and San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose. If you live outside those markets, Sling does not offer ABC.

If you sign up now, you can get all the best sports Sling has to offer for just $50/month with a 4-month plan.

Fubo

Sports-focused Fubo carries every channel you need for the NFL and 19 of the top 35 cable channels. If you max it out, you can watch as many as 226 channels.

Get started with a free trial and enjoy its unprecedented $30 off your first month after that.

YouTube TV & NFL Sunday Ticket

YouTube TV is a nice all-around streamer with 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and an unlimited DVR. $8/month isn’t much of a discount, but it’s better than nothing.

Considering standalone NFL Sunday Ticket costs $119.75/month and you can get Sunday Ticket and YouTube TV for $158.99/month, that’s a nice incentive to bundle the pair. Still, it’s very, very expensive.

Paramount+

You can try a free trial or just sign up for a full year and get 50% off. Every Paramount+ plan includes Sunday afternoon football on CBS. If you choose the upgraded Paramount+ with Showtime plan, you get access to your 24/7 CBS affiliate. This is a great choice for anyone who has Sling TV, since that service doesn’t offer CBS.

Prime Video

There’s no discount for Prime Video, but you can get 30 days for free to watch Thursday Night Football.
