What do we know about Season 2 of the Star Wars series ‘Andor’ so far?
The Star Wars series is unlike most other entries from that universe so far, but when is it coming back for another season?
The Disney+ original Star Wars series “Andor” is one of the most unique projects from a galaxy far, far away ever put on TV. There are no lightsabers, no Jedi, only a desperate struggle by a group determined to fight the oppression of the Empire, no matter the cost. The series gained a dedicated following after its first season, but when will it be back with new episodes? We’ll update you on all the available information about Season 2 of “Andor” thus far, and keep refreshing until the show returns.
What information do we have about ‘Andor’ Season 2 so far?

Is there a trailer for ‘Andor’ Season 2?
There is no trailer or promotional art for “Andor” Season 2 so far. Once there is a trailer available, we will be sure to post it here, so keep an eye out!
When is ‘Andor’ Season 2 coming out?
“Andor” Season 2 is currently scheduled to arrive on Disney+ on Tuesday, April 22. If the show follows the pattern established by other Star Wars series, it will release two episodes on its premiere date, and then air one episode each following Tuesday until the season ends.
What will ‘Andor’ Season 2 be about?
“Andor” Season 2 will reportedly take place just before the events of “Rogue One,” which in turn immediately proceeded “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.” It will continue the story of Cassian Andor, a once-reluctant participant in the rebellion who has since been fully radicalized against the Empire by his experiences. It’s safe to assume that other characters from Season 1 including Mon Mothma, Luthen Rael and Saw Gererra will return, but there has been no confirmation of their appearances.
Who will be in ‘Andor’ Season 2?
As the show is still several months out, there are few cast details available. Diego Luna is returning as Cassian Andor, and it would make sense for Alan Tudyk to reprise his role of K-2SO, the sardonic former Imperial droid who has been reprogrammed by Andor to fight for the Rebels. The Streamable will update the cast information for Season 2 of “Andor” once it becomes available.
How many episodes will be in ‘Andor’ Season 2?
As with Season 1 of “Andor,” Season 2 will feature 12 episodes, likely varying in length between 35 minutes and an hour or so.
Does ‘Andor’ tie in with other Star Wars shows?
Disney has made a concerted effort to bring together its varying Star Wars series. Storylines from “Ahsoka,” “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett” are likely to be heavily tied into a new “Mandalorian”-based movie announced by Lucasfilm, but the events of “Andor” are already associated with an existing Star Wars film in “Rogue One.” Thus, I don’t expect a large amount of Star Wars characters from other shows and movies in the franchise to appear in Season 2 of “Andor.”
How to catch up on ‘Andor’
“Andor” Season 1 streams exclusively on Disney+ along with other Star Wars franchise titles, which is available on its own starting at $10 per month. Viewers can also pay just $1 per month more to stream Disney+ and Hulu in the Disney Duo Basic bundle, with ad-free options and bundles including ESPN+ also available.
