FloSports to Launch FloCollege Streaming Platform This Fall with Thousands of College Sports Events

The streamer will focus on Division II and Division III events from the NCAA, and will offer more than 4,000 live women’s games in 2024-25.

FloSports has announced an NCAA-focused streamer dubbed FloCollege, which will launch this fall.

If you’re looking for a way to watch even more college sports when this fall rolls around, FloSports has an announcement to make your week. On Tuesday, FloSports revealed that it would be launching a new streaming platform dubbed “FloCollege” this October, which will feature live games and shoulder programming from Division I, II, and III conferences in the NCAA. The service will launch this fall and will include a massive lineup of live games, particularly from women’s sports.

Key Details:

  • FloSports is due to launch in October 2024.
  • Partner conferences include the BIG EAST, Gulf South Conference, and more.
  • The streamer will have more DII and DIII women’s games than any other service.

FloCollege is set to hit the market in October 2024. No price has been announced yet, but viewers can likely expect the service to cost around the same as the flagship FloSports platform, which costs $29.99 per month or $149.88 for an annual plan.

The new streamer will offer thousands of live events every year and has announced nine partner conferences at launch from the NCAA’s Divisions I, II and III: BIG EAST, Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), Landmark Conference, New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), South Atlantic Conference (SAC), Gulf South Conference (GSC), California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), and Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).

In total, these conferences house 68 schools and more than 1,000 sports teams combined. FloCollege will be particularly useful for women’s sports fans; it will offer more than 4,000 women’s sporting events in 2024-25 alone, and sports from basketball to volleyball and much more will be available. Ratings for women’s sports are on the rise, and FloSports isn’t the only outlet taking advantage. ESPN recently made a deal to host more than 40 men's and women's college championships to continue enlarging the broadcast footprint of women’s athletics.

“We believe the launch of FloCollege is a watershed moment for college athletics at a time of massive transition,” said FloSports CEO Mark Floreani. “There is no single platform that is serving today’s athletes and member institutions at the D-II and D-III level with live event streaming, editorial and social like we are planning.”

In addition to the 10,000 live games that are slated to appear on FloCollege in the 2024-25 season alone, the streamer will include a wide range of shoulder programming. It will offer editorial shows, social programming, and more. Its sister service FloSports includes original titles as well, so it may not be long before FloCollege originals arrive on the streamer.

“With the launch of FloCollege and the financial investment FloSports is putting behind it, I am confident that it will become the premier destination for college sports fans,” said CCAA commissioner Allen Hardison. “Our student-athletes want to play on a platform that also showcases the other top conferences in the nation and that is exactly what FloCollege will be. We are incredibly excited to be a part of this.”

What Other Streaming Services Offer College Sports?

ESPN+ offers a wide lineup of college sports events, and Venu Sports will do likewise when it launches.

The launch of FloCollege will instantly make it one of the top streaming services available for watching college sports. It won’t have much in the way of Division I events, however. Top-flight NCAA football won’t be found there, nor will any sporting events from the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, or other major Division I leagues.

For those, viewers will need to sign up to different streamers. ESPN+ has a wide range of college football and basketball from the largest conferences in the United States, and the forthcoming Venu Sports service will offer any college sports events airing on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN+, Fox, FS1 and TNT, including the College Football Playoff, games from the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments, and much more when it launches this fall.

If Division II and III events are your bread and butter, however, you’ll want to make sure you grab a subscription to FloCollege when it becomes available this fall. The platform will house thousands of live events each season, as well as a host of surrounding coverage.
