A+E Networks announced the launch of their new streaming service, A&E Crime Central. The service joins other SVOD services from A+E Networks, such as History Vault and the Lifetime Movie Club.
“A&E is known for its front-row-seat crime and justice series, and we’re pleased to offer a subscription product featuring our crime and investigative library content under one roof,” Mark Garner, EVP, digital content licensing & business development at A+E Networks, said in a statement. “A&E Crime Central continues our strategy of monetizing our troves of premium content while hyper-serving our truest fan bases.”
A&E Crime Central will offer subscribers the opportunity to stream a host of episodes of A+E Networks’ library of classic crime series and specials from across its portfolio. The service comes with 900 crime series and specials from the A&E, History, Lifetime and LMN networks. Highlighted shows include “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” “The First 48: Missing Persons,” “After the First 48,” “Beyond Scared Straight,” “Nightwatch,” “Cold Case Files Classic” and “60 Days In.”
The service also launched with some specials, including “OJ: Guilty in Vegas,” “Menendez Brothers: The Sins of the Children,” “Casey Anthony’s Parents Speak” and “Life of a Gang Girl: The Untold Story.”
A&E Crime Central is available on Amazon Prime Video Channels, the Apple TV app, Cox Contour TV and Contour Stream Player and premium subscriptions on The Roku Channel.
Customers can also sign-up for a free seven-day trial through Apple TV channels, Amazon Prime Video Channels, and The Roku Channel. Monthly subscriptions for the service are $4.99.
