How much will it cost to stream your favorite NBA team in 2025?
We’ll run through all the options to stream in-market and national NBA games for every team in the league this year.
The 2025-26 NBA season is finally here. NBA teams return to the hardwood for the regular season starting on Tuesday, Oct. 21, though most of the league will be back in action on Wednesday. Opening night will feature two contests, one between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets, the other between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.
There are lots of changes coming to NBA broadcasts in 2025, including new national partners for the league and more games on NBA TV. But some things are staying the same; most NBA games will appear on regional sports networks or local broadcast channels once again in 2025, and many teams now have an in-market streaming service for fans to watch on as well.
We know that can be incredibly confusing for fans, and finding out how much it will cost to stream all the games from your favorite team can be some really complicated math. We’ve done that math for you, and you can see how to watch every NBA game from the 2025-26 season — including the price to do so — below!
How much will it cost to stream every NBA game from your favorite team in 2025-26?
How much will it cost to stream national NBA games this year?
Let’s start with the national games here. The NBA is entering the first year of a landmark $76 billion deal that will see national games played on ABC and ESPN, NBC, Peacock, and Prime Video. That means you’ll need an array of TV channels and streaming services to stream each and every game.
To get access to ABC and ESPN, you’ll either need a live TV streaming service that has both channels, or a subscription to the ESPN Unlimited plan of the direct-to-consumer service the channel now offers. For $30 per month, the cheapest way to watch national games on ABC and ESPN on a game-by-game basis is by using Sling TV; it has Passes that allow customers to watch Sling Orange content for $5 per day, $10 per weekend, or $15 per week. Sling Orange doesn’t have ABC, but it does carry ESPN and ESPN3, the latter of which simulcasts live NBA games appearing on ABC.
You can also watch ABC and ESPN on DIRECTV starting at $70 per month for the MySports Genre Pack, or $85 per month for the ENTERTAINMENT package; on Fubo for $56 per month with the Fubo Sports service or $85 per month with the Fubo Pro plan; on Hulu + Live TV starting at $90 per month (as of Oct. 21); or on YouTube TV for $83 per month.
NBC is available in the same DIRECTV packages as ABC and ESPN, for the same prices. Fubo Sports does not carry NBC, but the Fubo Pro plan, starting at $85 per month, does. Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV also offer NBC in their base plans in most markets. Sling TV carries NBC in a small handful of markets in its Blue package ($46 per month), as well as its Select plan (starting at $20 per month).

Prime Video costs $9 per month if you want to stream on-demand content with ads, or $12 per month if you prefer to go without ads. You can also get Prime Video as a benefit of your Amazon Prime subscription, which costs $15 per month and comes with a 30-day free trial for new subscribers.
Lastly, Peacock will carry a selection of exclusive NBA games this season. This service costs $11 per month for ad-supported playback with full sports access, or $17 per month if you want to go ad-free when watching on-demand titles.
Peacock and Prime Video combined will cost you at least $20 per month to watch all NBA games on those services, so keep that in mind as you decide on which live TV streaming service you want to use to access games on ABC, NBC, and ESPN. Also, remember that if you have an over-the-air antenna, you can watch any games on ABC and ESPN at no monthly cost.

How much will it cost to watch local NBA games in 2025-26?
As mentioned above, NBA teams will play most of their regular-season games on regional sports channels that aren’t available to watch outside the region where the team itself plays. Among live TV streamers, only DIRECTV and Fubo carry a large selection of these channels; DIRECTV comes with regional sports networks (RSNs) in its CHOICE package, starting at $95 per month — though you’ll be on the hook for an RSN fee on top of that price. Fubo’s Pro plan starts at $85 per month and will also include an RSN fee.
Viewers who are looking to save probably aren’t too thrilled about the prospect of paying $100 per month or more to watch their favorite team’s NBA games on a night-in, night-out basis, but there is the prospect of relief for most fans. Nearly every team in the league now offers a direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming option, and most of these are priced closer to $20 per month.
Check out our list of DTC partners of each NBA team that has one below, and see how much a subscription will cost you. Keep in mind, the Houston Rockets are the only team that does not currently offer a DTC streaming option to in-market fans, and thus local games are only available to watch on Space City Home Network.
How much are out-of-market NBA games?
If you don’t live in the same area as your favorite NBA team, you can watch games that would normally appear on an RSN with a subscription to NBA League Pass. This service will allow you to watch a single team’s out-of-market games for $14 per month, out-of-market contests from every team for $17 per month, or upgrade to League Pass Premium and cut out ads for $25 per month. Annual plans of these tiers are also available, and you can sign up to League Pass directly or through Prime Video.
What about games on NBA TV?
The NBA TV cable channel will carry 60 games on a non-exclusive basis this year. Viewers in the markets of the teams playing will likely find these games on local channels as well, but if you want to stream NBA TV, you can see how much it will cost to do so with various live TV streaming services in the chart below.

Bottom line
The cheapest way for most viewers to stream their local NBA teams is with a combination of Peacock and Prime Video — each of which is carrying exclusive games this year — as well as a subscription to their local team’s direct-to-consumer streaming partner. This bundle will cost around $40 per month for most.
From there, it’s up to the individual viewer to determine how much they want to spend on access to ABC, ESPN, and NBC. As stated, you can get ABC and NBC for $0 per month if you make a one-time purchase of an over-the-air antenna, most of which can be had for around $50 or less. If you do that, you can watch any games appearing exclusively on ESPN with Sling TV for $5 if you use a Pass to watch one day at a time.
It’s still a bit confusing to keep track of all those games and platforms, but hopefully, we’ve made it easier to determine how much you can expect to pay to stream all games from your favorite NBA team over the course of the 2025-26 season. Prices will probably be in the range of $50 per month and up for most viewers, depending on how many of their chosen games per month appear on ESPN, when adding access to that service on top of games on Peacock, Prime Video, and local sports channels.
A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that the New Orleans Pelicans still streamed games on FanDuel Sports Network. The Pelicans now stream games in-market on Pelicans+.
