How to Stream Helene Hurricane Coverage on Weather Channel, for Free, More

Hurricane Helene could be the strongest storm to make landfall in the United States in more than a year.

Tropical Storm Helene is expected to intensify very quickly through Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tropical Storm Helene is shaping up to be one of the worst storms in recent memory. Helene is forecast to make landfall on the Florida panhandle on Thursday, Sept. 26, and could strengthen into a Category 3 hurricane in that time, meaning that wind speeds could top out at 129 miles per hour. It’s currently expected to intensify significantly in the next few days before hitting Florida near the Big Bend region of the state on Thursday, putting Tallahassee and other cities directly in its path.

“Helene is forecast to intensify and be near hurricane strength Wednesday in the far northwestern Caribbean Sea. It is expected to intensify into a major hurricane before it approaches the northeastern Gulf Coast on Thursday. Areas along the Florida Panhandle and the Florida West Gulf Coast should monitor the National Hurricane Center for the latest forecast updates,” the National Weather Service said in a statement.

Floridians who need to know exactly when and where the storm will hit will want to make sure they have access to potentially life-saving information found on local and national TV channels. There are several live TV streaming services that will allow you to watch coverage of Helene, as well as free streaming options that carry local news networks.

Many of these streamers and apps also allow viewers to watch on their phones, so even if you’re faced with the prospect of losing power, you can stay up-to-date on Helene news with these sources via a mobile device.
