The MGM+ hit drama series “Billy the Kid” returns for the back half of its second season on Sunday, June 2 at 9 p.m. ET. After the first four episodes of Season 2 aired in the fall, the second batch of four will kick off on MGM+’s premium cable channel and subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) streaming service. About 'Billy the Kid' Season 2, Part 2

The fragile peace in Lincoln County is disrupted in the second season of MGM+’s “Billy the Kid.” Murphy’s Store had long enjoyed a monopoly, but when an Englishman comes to town, challenging the general store’s dominance, violence quickly ensues. Greed, money, and corruption begin to dominate the lives of any and all citizens.

The cowboy gangs and a dangerous secret society are far too much for the local lawmen to handle, leading to high-speed horse chases and deadly shootouts. Things get too close to Billy when a dramatic assassination leads to things getting ugly and dangerous. Is this where the legendary gunfighter gets taken down? Will he make it out of the Lincoln County War alive?

“Billy the Kid” stars Tom Blyth in the eponymous role, alongside Eileen O’Higgins, Daniel Webber, and Alex Roe. The show was created by Michael Hirst. You are able to catch up on the first 12 episodes of “Billy the Kid” on-demand with a subscription to MGM+.
