About ‘Mad Max: Furiosa’
The world has fallen apart. There’s not much left to support life, but the Green Place of Many Mothers hides a secret society that does its best to remain hidden. But when it’s discovered at last, one of its youngest residents is stolen away by the Warlord Dementus and his biker gang of bandits, thieves and cutthroats. She quickly learns the tools needed to survive in this inhospitable world, but she never lets go of home.
Years later, Furiosa and Dementus get caught up in a feud with the Immortan Joe, who presides over the oasis known as the Citadel. Placed between the two warlords, Furiosa does what she has since being snatched away from the Green Place: craft a plan to get home. She’ll do whatever it takes, even if she has to wait years to see her plan realized…
