About ‘Mayor of Kingstown’: Season 3 Premiere

Jeremy Renner returns to action as Mike McLusky in this season of “Mayor of Kingstown,” and he’s got a big job on his hands. A drug war is raging in Kingstown, and its focal point is the local prison. McLusky has to try to tamp down the violene and make peace between all sides, but there are multiple interests at play and limited options for moving forward.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, a new influence has moved into Kingstown that’s sure to make the so-called mayor’s job a lot harder: the Russian mob. And to put the cherry on top for Mike, a familiar face from his past in prison will return to complicate matters even further. The series is co-created by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, so fans can be assured there will be violence before it’s all said and done.
