Lucy and Stephen are headed back to school, and after their breakup at the start of the summer, one might assume they will be ready to go their separate ways for good. Despite a pledge not to speak to one another, however, it becomes clear very quickly that the pair cannot cut off all contact with each other for long.
Suddenly finding themselves in a new version of their addictive relationship that is as exasperating as it is difficult to escape, the pair begins to pull their friends into their toxic orbit. The story will expand to show viewers more details of the lives of their friend group, as the fallout of the events of Season 1 is explored in more detail from different perspectives.
