Fern Siegel

Hulu is debuting “Delivered” on May 8, part of its “Into the Dark” horror movie anthology series.

The show stars Tina Majorino (“Napoleon Dynamite”) as a pregnant woman who learns someone close has sinister plans for her and her baby, The Wrap reports.

Hulu renewed “Into the Dark” for a second season last summer; the series screens one themed show per month. May’s entry is tied to Mother’s Day.

Produced by Blumhouse Television, “Delivered” also stars Natalie Paul (“The Sinner”), Michael Cassidy (“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”) and Micah Joe Parker (“Wait”).

“Delivered” was written by Dirk Blackman (“Outlander”) and directed by Emma Tammi (“The Wind,” “Fair Chase.”

April’s show, “Pooka Lives,” is an Easter/Pooka Day-themed movie.

Hulu has reported success with a variety of genres. The Oscar-winning “Parasite” has become a hit on the streamer. The service reports it’s the second-most-watched film in the streamer’s history. The movie chronicles a poor family’s plan to infiltrate a wealthy household by pretending they don’t know each other. “Parasite” landed on Hulu April 8 and quickly shot to the No. 1 most-watched indie or foreign film on the service.

The suspense series “Little Fires Everywhere,” starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, based on the bestselling Celeste Ng book, is the streamer’s most successful drama series.
