Almost 30 Percent of Adults Say They Will Subscribe to Disney+ in New Poll

Stephanie Sengwe

Fresh off a big weekend for Disney+ filled with new show announcements, trailers and an in-depth look at the upcoming streaming service, it seems people can’t wait to get access to Disney+. According to The Hollywood Reporter/Morning Consult, approximately 30 percent of adults say they will subscribe to Disney+.

People are just as likely to sign-up for Disney+, as they are the Disney+ bundle. The survey found that 18 percent of their respondents were somewhat likely to subscribe to the standalone Disney+ service. In comaprison, 19 percent of the pool said they would likely subscribe to the $12.99 bundled service, which includes Hulu and ESPN.

A seperate poll of cord-cutters conducted by The Streamable found that nearly 71 percent of respondents would sign-up for the bundle over the individual service.

Last week, Disney announced an incredible deal for their D23 members that drops the price of Disney+ by $23 per year to just $47 (normally $70). The offer was available to anyone attending last weekend’s D23 Expo, but is now available online for D23 Gold and D23 Gold Family members until September 2nd. Demand for the discount was so high that the spike in traffic to the website caused a three-hour outage.
