Amazon’s Freevee Adds 17 Local News Channels from Fox, TMZ Channel to Lineup
Viewers of local Fox stations in markets like Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, and more will now find their local Fox affiliate on Amazon’s free streaming platform.
Amazon’s free ad-supported streaming service Freevee is continuing to bolster its reputation as a news streaming platform. Freevee carries more than 400 total channels, and has announced that this month it is adding 18 new selections total: 17 local Fox affiliates from as many markets, and [TMZ]’s free ad-supported TV (FAST) channel as well.

Which Channels Are Coming to Freevee?
Freevee is bringing on Fox affiliates from top media markets like Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco. These are some of the biggest and most heavily populated markets in the United States; Fox stations from all of the seven biggest markets in the country are on the list of Freevee’s latest channel additions.
The channels join a growing list of local news affiliates available to Freevee viewers. The service also carries ABC stations from markets like Houston, Chicago and the Bay Area, as well as some NBC stations from top markets. Freevee also carries a national CBS news channel, finance options from Bloomberg, weather coverage from Fox Weather and more.
In addition to these 17 Fox affiliates, Freevee is bringing on TMZ’s FAST channel for all the latest gossip from entertainment circles. Using TMZ’s trademark irreverent style, this channel delivers entertainment news with up-to-the-minute reporting on important stories.

Besides live news, Freevee carries more than 400 individual FAST channels, with choices from essentially every genre a viewer could want. Click over to FAST channels from the NHL or MLB to get sports content from popular leagues, or flip on WBtv’s Classic Cinema channel to watch favorite films like “Logan's Run” and thousands of other titles.
Select seasons of Prime Video originals like “Reacher” and “Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan” have also been available on Freevee. Amazon placed these episodes on its free streaming platform in November, ahead of its rollout of ads on Prime Video’s primary streaming tier. The episodes aren’t on Freevee at the moment, but they could return in the future!
