Apple TV+ First Reactions, Here’s What Users Are Saying About the Streaming Service on Twitter

The streaming wars are officially on, with the launch of Apple TV+ this morning. The long-awaited streaming service launched today with nine original titles for viewers to enjoy. Though their front running shows were met with mixed reviews earlier this week, Apple TV+ promises to churn out more content over the coming months. Apple TV+ is also available for free to users on the student plan as well those who purchased a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple TV.

With so much publicity surrounding Apple TV+ users are already experiencing some technical difficulties. Some users are reportedly seeing error messages such as “Your account is temporarily unavailable” or “You are not qualified for the hardware offer” — even if they bought the iPhone 11, which began shipping Sept. 20, Variety reports.

According to MacRumors.com, users can resolve the problem by visiting tv.apple.com on a desktop browser and logging in using their Apple ID user name and password. After accepting the 12-month subscription offer, users should return to their iPhone, sign out of the Apple TV app (and close it) then relaunch the app and sign in again.

Technical difficulties notwithstanding, Apple TV+ has been the subject of some major buzz. Here is what some consumers are saying about the app on Twitter so far.
